Happy Fathers' Day. Hello to everyone who came to Cronulla RSL today. All gentlemen present looked resplendent in their new socks.

Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters played for dancers on the new Level 2 stage, looking out over the ocean at Cronulla Beach.

It was a wet and windy day, but inside was cosy and the music was hot. Cronulla used to be such a wide beach even when the tide was in.

After playing I took the family to the beautiful club bistro with huge ocean views. Salt and pepper squid, Greek Salad and wedges. Yum! And we learnt from the friendly waiter that Cronulla had originally been called Gunnamatta.

We're looking forward to playing at Cronulla RSL again, Sunday 8 November, 12:30 - 3:30pm.

We're also available for weddings, parties and all events. Visit the band's website. Or contact Tony 61 2 9567 7171 | 0407 941 263 | tony@ozmanagement.com.
